3,600 U.S. organizations pledge to support Paris Agreement goals
In late 2015, 196 international states convened in Paris, France to negotiate the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) agreement. By early 2019, 195 UNFCCC members had signed the Paris Agreement (PA). Although the United States may officially withdraw, organizations representing a $9 trillion slice of the U.S. economy have pledged to help achieve Paris Agreement goals.
The coalition of more than 3,600 organizations participating the We Are Still In (WASI) Declaration1 form 45% of the U.S. economy.
Specifics of the WASI Declaration2 and pledges made by individual organizations (including ecoPreserve, LLC3) are detailed online.
