U.S. Green Building Council of Central and South Florida

As proud national members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), it is our responsibility to advance the local chapters and community. ecoPreserve’s leadership began as founders and continue as active members of the Hospitality Advocacy Committee of Central and South Florida and the Green Destination Orlando program. The goal of this effort to be a catalyst in the evolution towards more sustainable and greener tourism and convention destination by including all facets of the hospitality industry. Central Florida Energy Efficiency Alliance

In 2008, Alexa Stone and Jeff Benavides were founding members of the Central Florida Energy Efficiency Alliance in 2008 which launched the award winning Kilowatt Crackdown Challenge that benchmarked over 2000 buildings in Central Florida! The challenge got national recognition and Orange County Environmental Protection Division received the 2011 ENERGY STAR Award for Excellence for the efforts.

The International Facility Management Association

Established in 1990 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, the IFMA Foundation works for the public good to promote priority the professionalism of the building industry. As active members of the Orlando Chapter, ecoPreserve supports education through editing of the IFMA Foundation Manuals.
