Alexa Stone Earns IFMA’s Sustainable Facility Professional Designation
Alexa Stone, ecoPreserve’s president, has added IFMA’s Sustainable Facility Professional (SFP) designation to her list of sustainable Facility Management credentials.
The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has developed a specific assessment-based certificate program called the Sustainable Facility Professional (SFP) credential in sustainability.
The SFP credential enables professionals to use knowledge-based and data-driven methods to successfully implement sustainable FM practices. The SFP certification is very practical, execution-oriented, and is a great complement to the LEED AP certification. Additionally, it enables LEED AP professionals to earn 70 LEED Maintenance general CE hours.
With each additional designation and credential, Alexa and ecoPreserve continue to strive towards providing value-driven solutions to help buildings and organizations improve operations, reduce costs, and achieve sustainability.
