List of 100 most sustainable corporations announced

These turbines are part of a 258 MW wind farm in Liverpool Bay that was developed by Ørsted A/S.

Ørsted A/S, a Danish energy company that focuses on renewable energy, is at the top of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations list.[1] Rankings are based on up to 21 key performance measures (KPM) that assess management of resources, employees, and finances.[2] Data for the assessment is retrieved from sources available to the public.

A Canadian business magazine, Corporate Knights – The Voice for Clean Capitalism – researches and publishes the Global 100 ranking. The list and many other sustainable business articles can be read from the CorporateKnights.com website, which is powered by 100% renewable electricity.

Ørsted A/S earned top honors after transforming from a primarily fossil fuels company and reducing its CO2 emissions by more than 80% since 2006.[3]

Two U.S. technology companies were among the top ten. Cisco Systems Inc. was fourth, with Autodesk Inc next in the list. Other U.S. companies and their rank among the top 100 were:
