Sustainability Specialist earns green Building Design and Construction (BD+C) credentials
Sarah Hamoui, a Sustainability Specialist at ecoPreserve, recently earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) status. This accreditation, awarded by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) focuses on Building Design and Construction (BD+C).
Sarah is the fifth ecoPreserve team member to add LEED AP BD+C to their list of credentials. All Sustainability Specialists and Project Managers hold LEED accreditations. ecoPreserve team member maintain a range of other USGBC accreditations, including LEED Green Associate, LEED AP Operations and Maintenance (O+M), and LEED AP Homes.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Public Administration. In initial assignments, she assisted with research and development, complex spreadsheets, and technical reviews. More recently, she opened ecoPreserve’s Atlanta office.
Sarah continues project work there and in Orlando, focusing on Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) improvements and working alongside Orlando project managers in assisting GOAA’s achievement of LEED certification.
